Multi-tiered Solar Powered Shishi Odoshi

Shishi Odoshi are Japanese bamboo water fountains originally intended to ward off deer from gardens. The term "Shishi Odoshi" literally means deer scarer. In this project my partner and I created a six foot tall version of the traditional Japanese fountain with multiple tiers of cantilevered bamboo rods. The fountain is constructed entirely from bamboo, twine, and a few glasses to catch water at each stage.
